Space Flight Thermofoil™ Heaters

Minco has been manufacturing high-reliability Space Flight Qualified heaters for more than 40 years. Our Catalog Space Flight products are similar to our high-temperature polyimide HAP series, with the additional benefit of being constructed from entirely low-outgassing materials, incorporating pressure sensitive mounting adhesive (PSA), and fabricated in-compliance with NASA GSFC S-311-P-841.

Product materials and product design in agreement with NASA GSCF S-311-P-841 (General Specification for Thermofoil Heater, All-Polyimide, Space Applications). NOTE: Catalog products do not include full Table I or Table II inspection, qualification or datasheets - contact Minco if you require additional qualification and screening.

  • Outgassing: 0.36% total mass loss, 0.01% collected volatile condensable material, per NASA-JSC
